Pokon Coconut Compact Potting Soil – compact peat-free coir soil for storage-friendly repotting
Pokon Coconut Compact Potting Soil is a practical coir-based option for small homes, balconies and occasional repotting. The compressed format reduces storage bulk until water is added.
Useful overview
- Compressed format: small to store before use
- Expands to 10 L: hydrates into a larger planting volume
- Peat-free coir: light fibre-based base material
- Built-in nutrition: contains nutrients for the early use period according to the product
Hydrating and fluffing
The hydrated material should be loosened thoroughly so roots do not sit in dense wet clumps. Use it alone only for suitable general planting; adjust with structure ingredients for aroids, succulents and other specialist groups.
Measurements & fit
Coir holds moisture well. Let the potting medium drain properly and adapt watering after repotting, especially in cool rooms or cover pots.
Setup and use
This mix is built around structure first. Use it as a complete potting mix, or blend it into a base soil to adjust airflow and drying speed.
Watering should match the pot size and root mass. Check moisture at depth and adjust your routine after the first few cycles.
Quick notes
- Moisten dry components before potting so the mix settles evenly.
- Choose pot size for the root ball, not for the top growth.
- Top-dress with the same mix to reduce surface compaction.
